What would you use the money for if you won the lottery?
All of us (I’m sure), have at least fantasized once on winning some mega lottery worth millions. Some might use it to achieve their bucket list while others might use it to start their own business or maybe donate their fortune (maybe not). Many Malaysians over the years happened to be some of the luckiest ones. And when I mean lucky, they really did get lucky with their wins.
1.Grocery shopping for a friend
No one liked to be asked to do grocery shopping for someone else. Same goes for Munsif from Perak. He was frustrated at first being asked by his friend to get him two bottles of Coca-cola. And that frustration that he had, led him to spend the remaining change on Grand Dragon Lotto. You guessed it right. He received RM 150K just for going out to buy groceries. Talk about a blessing in disguise!
Not sure if everyone knows, but Datuk Gong (Kong) Lucky Number is a phone app. Derived from Chinese culture, Na Tuk Gong (Kong) is worshiped as a guardian deity of peace, prosperity and health. But nowadays, some even went as far as to download an app that resembles Datuk Gong. One particular lady obtained 2 sets of numbers generated by the app and BOTH hit!
3. Magnum
Magnum…Ice Cream. Yes. A man after winning a little shy over RM 1 Million, shared that after he bought the ice-cream, he had a ridiculous idea of using the last 4 digits of the serial number to buy 4D Magnum online. Turns out, that was the best purchase he made. I don’t know about you, but I’d be overthinking every time I am going to buy a Magnum ice-cream.
4. One…two…three…eighty-seven car numbers
You definitely have heard of people buying Toto 4D online with car numbers. Plentiful. Lee Sing did the same… however he showed just a little more commitment. During his past time, he flipped cars and bought the corresponding number every single time without fail. This happened continuously for almost 9 months; totalling to an amount of 87 different numbers. I guess this can be a moral story of never giving up?
5. Experiencing repeated dreams.
RM 7.4 million was just snatched away by a man who wishes to remain anonymous. But he did share in a private interview of how he was still in disbelief, “I usually don’t play the lottery, but at the same time, ‘it’ was like informing me aggressively rather than hinting me in my dreams. I wasn’t near any retail stores, so I quickly got my phone up and placed my bets on Pocket4D.” He used to live a very humble lifestyle but has been spending more generously on cars and watches.
